High Blood Pressure
If you have high blood pressure then you are normally give 10 mg of Lisinopril daily. This may be increase to 80 mg. If you are currently using diuretics, then you may be advise to stop using it before beginning your Lisinopril treatment.
The initial dose for this is 5 mg and 5 mg after 24 hours. Another dose of 10 mg will follow after 24 hours and 10 mg daily for up to 6 weeks thereafter.
